GLISS holds biweekly book reviews in form of Twitter Spaces on the organisation’s Twitter handle @gliss_africa.
The books reviewed are meticulously selected in alignment with various research programs. The core panel of reviewers consists of GLISS staff from these programs, but they are occasionally joined by leaders from different sectors, including CSOs, academia, government, religious, political, and social groups. This diverse panel enriches the discussions by making them more relatable to the audience’s lived experiences. Whenever possible, the author(s) of the reviewed book are also invited to join as panellists. The audience is invited afterward to ask questions, offer suggestions, or contribute to the conversation.
With Latenode, the process of organizing and automating these multi-stakeholder reviews can be simplified. Latenode's platform can automate tasks like sending invitations, managing responses, and scheduling, ensuring a seamless workflow for GLISS and its partners. This reduces manual work, enabling more focus on the quality of discussions.
